    A Partial Review of the adopted Cherwell Local Plan (Part 1) is in preparation to help meet the unmet housing needs of Oxford. When adopted it will become part of the statutory Development Plan to which regard must be given in the determination of planning applications. To ensure the housing needs of the District are met within the 15 year Plan period, the Council has sought to identify sites which have the least policy and physical constraints whilst ensuring that they will deliver sustainable development.
